Reformed Scholastic Scholar, Dr. James Dolezal perfectly articulates the doctrine of Divine Simplicity in this video. Watch this if you are trying to understand it more profoundly. I also recommend reading his principal work on the DDS (God without parts: Gods Simplicity and Absoluteness), and then, of course, diving into some more Thomistic works relating to it and Grace.

The Doctrine of Divine Simplicity with Dr. James Dolezal
Dr. James Dolezal, of Cairn University, gives a talk on his book All That Is In God: Evangelical Theology and the Challenge of Classical Christian Theism in this Sunday Night Theology seminar hosted by Christ Church West Chester in West Chester, PA.
The fact that you have to accept the Hesychast councils in order to be an ortho is the most incomprehensible thing to me.
Why would you become one with a faith that dogmatically denies Gods immutability and unchangeability by way of Palamite theology through the Hesychast councils?

No sin has greater power over the soul than the one of cursed sodomy, which was always detested by all those who lived according to God’s law.
Such passion for untenable practices borders on madness. This vice disturbs the intellect, unbalances an elevated and generous state of soul, drags lofty thoughts down to base ones, makes men pusillanimous and irascible, obstinate and hardened, servilely soft and incapable of anything.
Furthermore, the will, agitated by the insatiable drive for pleasure, no longer follows reason but rather the tumult of the passions.
One who lives practicing the vice of sodomy will suffer more pain in Hell than anyone else, because this is the worst sin that exists.
-St Bernardino of Siena

So I guess Matthew 16:18 and the Roman Petrine episcopate never actually existed and Clement was not a successor of Saint Peter?

Mary, Holy Mother of God, pray for us.Before you ever defend JPII again or call him a "Saint", consider the following words in which he espoused relating to the Incarnation:
"Christ, the Son of God, by becoming flesh, assumes the humanity of every man, beginning with the most poor and forsaken. At this point he becomes united with every person so as to become a guarantor of his very dignity."
- John Paul II, General Audience, January 25, 1984
L'Osservatore Romano, Englsih Ed., Jan. 25, 1984, p. 1.
This is blatant heresy, as St. Thomas Aquinas points out here, "The Word of God "did not assume human nature in general, but 'in atomo'"—that is, in an individual—as Damascene says (De Fide Orth. iii, 11) otherwise every man would be the Word of God, even as Christ was." - Summa Theologiae, Pt. III, Q. 2, A. 2, Reply to Obj 3.
He also taught that Christianity can be defined as the "Amazement of man."

When people try to object to this by saying that what JPII taught about the incarnation and man is actually orthodox and in accordance with Thomistic theology. This couldn't be further from the truth and proves that these people have no idea what they're talking about when it comes to act and potency.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all, especially those in Ireland!
O God, Who didst vouchsafe to send blessed Patrick Thy Confessor and Bishop to preach Thy glory to the nations: grant, by his merits and intercession that whatever Thou commandest us to do, we may by Thy mercy be able to fulfil. Though our Lord Jesus Christ Thy Son, Who with Thee liveth and reigneth in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, world without end. Amen.
Sancte Patrice, ora pro nobis!

Nothing has ever fascinated me more pertaining to theology/metaphysics/ philosophy than Aquinas’ thought. There is just something about it man... I can’t even describe it really. I’m sure Garrigou-Lagrange would’ve felt this way too.
No other philosophical/theological school has attracted me as much as Thomism has in all honesty.
