Why didn’t the Enlightenment figures of the 17th and 18th centuries target Protestantism then? Hmmm maybe because they were totally aligned with the Protestants idea of modernising/democratising Europe and in their hatred of the Church and Catholic monarchies.
I don’t even have to watch the video to know it’s all absolute nonsense. I just have to look at the title.
Take a look at this prideful freak thinking everything is about him and his heretical church. Funny thing is, only 2 videos in the top 5 are about orthodoxy, and the one with Jay is the debate between him and Ybarra where he got destroyed. Everyone in the comments said the same. Unlike Erick, Jay is extremely arrogant and will never admit defeat, so he goes and says this.

Last time I checked too, TLM attendance is sky rocketing [FSSP, SSPX & Discern] and the amount of people who attend Orthodox liturgies is decreasing significantly.
Reminder that the Eastern orthodox are also suffering from liberalism too, but it's not well known. The ecumenical patriarch of Constantinople has been called "the green patriarch" because he's like Pope Francis.

GOD WILL NOT BE MOCKED

“The sinner says, ‘God is merciful.’ Behold the third very common delusion of sinners, by which great numbers are lost. A learned author declares that the mercy of God sends more souls to hell than His justice; because these unhappy ones, confiding rashly in God's mercy, continue in sin, and are thus lost. God is merciful. Who denies it? Nevertheless how many does He daily send to hell! He is merciful; but He is also just, and He is therefore obliged to punish those who offend Him. He shows mercy; but to whom? To him that fears Him: His mercy is towards them that fear him. The Lord hath compassion on them that fear him. (Ps. cii. 11, 18). But as for those who despise Him, and abuse His mercy only to despise Him the more, He exercises justice in their regard. And with reason. God pardons the sin, but He cannot pardon the determination to sin. St. Augustine says that he who sins with the intention of repenting afterwards, is not a penitent but a mocker of God. On the other hand, the Apostle tells us that God will not be mocked: Be not deceived: God is not mocked. (Gal. vi. 7). It would be mocking God to offend Him as we please and when we please, and then to expect Heaven.”

catholic Marian dogmas bring even more fulfillment to the philosophical notion of the self-diffusive character of divine goodness, in that while the Incarnation is the maximum of divine self-outpouring, the blessed Virgin reflects that maximum purely on the side of creatures

St Basil the Great ♰ said that women who die from an abortion have committed three sins - adultery, because usually the pregnancy originates in fornication; murder, for the child's life - and suicide, for their own unintended demise.
