“Forgive them Lord, for they know not what they do” - St. Stephen

Saint Stephen, the first Martyr, was a one man army against the World. The Jews HATED him with a passion, for he preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the public. They stoned him to death. And who was in the crowd? The same people who chanted for the murder of Jesus Christ. Saul (later Paul after conversion to Catholicism) was present at the martyrdom of Stephen. In fact, he played a role in it. The Martyrdom of Stephen gives three lessons. One for the believer and two for the non believer. The lesson for the believer is that it is Christ or nothing. It is better to die for Christ than to live in worldly comfort. The first lesson for the non believer is repentance; no sin is greater than God’s mercy. Saul helped murder Stephen and countless other Christians and later became one of the great Christian Saints! The other lesson is that allegiance with the world is being an enemy of God. The Jews who killed Stephen most likely were present when God allowed the Temple at Jerusalem and the entire priest class to be razed to ashes.
December 27th is the feast of Saint John, Apostle and Evangelist.
Read a chapter of the Book of John in honour of him today, and meditate on it.
John 16:13 “When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth: for He will not speak on His won, but will speak whatever He hears and He will declare to you the things that are to come”

Transmission #1 , “¿Christian Taliban?” - what do I mean when I use the term “Christian Taliban”? Here is a formal explanation to a concept I’ve used several times in memes. The term is used to describe Christian resistance to “the World”. Much like how the Taliban has resisted the World. It is a concept which we see in history and scripture. In Mexico, they were called Cristeros. In France they were deemed as Counter Revolutionaries. In the Old Testament they are called Maccabees. But they are all the same, they are all vibing on the same frequency. I use the suffix of “Taliban” in order to describe this concept to a modern Western (predominantly American) audience. It is not condoning the Islamic variant of the Taliban, to be clear. With the ground works set, what does a “Christian Taliban” in the modern world look like? Is it even possible? I’ll answer the last question first. Yes, resistance to the world is very possible. And what does it look like? That’ll be for the next transmission on the subject.

Saint Francis created the tradition of setting up a nativity scene ("presepio" or "presepe", in italian) on Christmas.
Among the original components of the original presepio, besides the Holy Family, the manger and the barn, he also placed an ox and a donkey in the barn.
This is not merely aesthetic, however, since it was destined to emphasize this passage in Isaiah 1, 3:
"The ox knows its master,
the donkey its owner’s manger,
but Israel does not know,
my people do not understand"
It is another example of the traditional medieval visual catechism.
The placing of both animals foretells the fate of the Christ, Who will not be recognized by the jews.

Let us pray.
O God, whose praise the martyred Innocents on this day confessed, not by speaking, but by dying, destroy all the evils of sin in us, that our life also may proclaim in deeds, thy faith which our tongues profess.
Through Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end.
R. Amen.

"We therefore denounce everything that represents a betrayal of the mission of the Shepherds, imploring the Lord to shorten these times of trial. And if one day we are told by Bergoglio that, in order to remain in communion with him, we must perform an act that offends God, we will have further confirmation that he is an impostor, and that as such he has no authority." +Carlo Maria Viganò

This excerpt is from a book I recommend to all men, especially to fathers:
“What’s the point of claiming to hold to traditional catholic ideas and morals if you don’t actually follow them in your daily life?
This seems remarkably prevalent in the traditional movement. I don’t mean to offend anyone or accuse anyone of anything, but you must live by what you believe; if you rightfully believe in traditional morality and social politics...
...don’t go about dressed immodestly at any time (this is for women AND men); be an example of charity and virtue for those around you; pray the Rosary; forsake all obscene language (including breaking the second commandment); study the faith só you can help others; etc
What’s the point of denouncing Vatican II (rightfully) and then adhering to modernist ways of thinking? What’s the point of not going to Mass every time you can “because you don’t feel like it”? What’s the point of calling out others for not being trad when you don’t live it?
In short: what’s the point of believing in the Truth if you don’t follow it Virtuously? Do you know how many people never convert to Traditional Catholicism because they see us as all mouth and no substance?
It’s important to intellectually reject modernity and all that entails it.
But it is necessary that people take the next step; that they not only adhere to Tradition in their mind, but that they embrace it with their hearts and live it, to give the world examples of Holiness.”
