Orthos will squirm uncontrollably when they find out that their very own Saints (Mark of Ephesus and Gregory Palamas - who are both burning in hell) actually taught the Immaculate Conception, despite orthodox claims.
Fr. Christiaan Kappes wrote a great book on this.

Part 2: All Things Original Sin in the Early Church Fathers
In part two of our series, we delve into what the Catholic Church teaches on original sin and we go into the western and eastern fathers to back up our beliefs.

This video is only on Original Sin btw, the last one was specifically on the Immaculate Conception. He said he’ll be doing more shows on the Immaculate Conception so go drop a sub. He’s appeared on Reason and Theology multiple times and is the Eastern Catholic contributor, though only recently has he started his own channel.
He explained it well but missed allot of stuff, oh well. The appellate structure is important too, and how patriarchs always appealed to Rome for their final judgment, so they can say “yep that’s it.” Rome always had primacy and universal jurisdiction. Many Church Fathers recognise this. I mean I’ve already sent you everything, but yeah. He could have mentioned the Fathers and how none of them affirmed Modern Orthodox Ecclesiology and that Rome, Constantinople and Alexandria were all equal. Roman primacy/papal authority was first exercised by Pope St. Clement I in the 2nd century lol. It’s not a matter of if or if not it was exercised, or how many times it was. It’s a matter of whether the Pope had the authority to do so. Which we can see, judging by the Fathers and the actions of certain popes throughout history, that they did indeed exercise this authority on numerous occasions. Some notable examples are the Letter of Agatho, the Formula of Hormisdas and Pope St. Leo’s tome, Pope St. Stephen, Pope Martin..

Pope St. Zosimus, Pope St. Boniface I, and et cetera. I mean St. Maximus the Confessor, Augustine, Ambrose of Milan, St. Bede, St. Igantius, St. Ireanaeus, etc. (will list more later) all held to the idea that Petrine See had universal episcopal jurisdiction and primacy, so what makes you think the majority of the Fathers didn’t? Claiming that the Church Fathers held fast to Modern Orthodox Ecclesiology is ridiculous. Even St. Cyprian didn’t hold to it...

Leo XIII should be a Doctor of the Church
Too bad the Vatican today is full of a bunch of Modernists and Jesuit faggot apostates so he won’t even be beatified anytime soon.
“Through the Holy Spirit comes out restoration to Paradise, our ascension to the Kingdom of Heaven, our adoption as God’s sons, our freedom to call God our father, our becoming partakes of the grace of Christ, being called children of light, sharing in eternal glory, and in a word, our inheritance of the fullness of blessing, both in this world and the world to come. Even while we wait for the full enjoyment of the good things in store for us, by the Holy Spirit we are able to rejoice through faith in the promise of the graces to come.”

INTROIT Ps. 24:6, 3, 22
Remember, O Lord, Your compassion and Your mercy are from of old, that my enemies may never rule over us. Deliver us from all our distress, O God of Israel.
Ps. 24:1-2. I have lifted up my soul to You, O Lord; in You, O my God, I place my trust. Let me not be put to shame.
V. Glory be . . .
COLLECT
O God, You see that we are completely powerless of ourselves. Protect us from bodily and spiritual dangers, so that we may not be harmed by physical misfortunes and evil thoughts. Through our Lord . . .
EPISTLE I Thess. 4:1-7
Brethren: For the rest therefore, brethren, pray and beseech you in the Lord Jesus that, as you have received from us, how you ought to walk and to please God, so also you would walk, that you may abound the more.
For you know what precepts I have given to you by the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, your sanctification: That you should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor, Not in the passion of lust, like the Gentiles that know not God: And that no man overreach nor circumvent his brother in business: because the Lord is the avenger of all these things, as we have told you before and have testified. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto sanctification, in Christ Jesus Our Lord.
GRADUAL Ps. 24:17-18
The cares of my heart are multiplied; deliver me from my distress, O Lord.
V. See my wretchedness and my suffering, and forgive all my sins.
TRACT Ps. 105:1-4
Give glory to the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever.
V. Who shall tell the mighty deeds of the Lord; who shall proclaim all His praises?
V. Blessed are they who keep the precepts, who do what is just at all times.
V. Remember us, O Lord, in Your benevolence towards Your people; visit us with Your saving help.
GOSPEL Matt. 17: 1-9
At that time, Jesus taketh unto him Peter and James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart: And he was transfigured before them. And his face did shine as the sun: and his garments became white as snow. And behold there appeared to them Moses and Elias talking with him. And Peter answering, said to Jesus: Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
And as he was yet speaking, behold a bright cloud overshadowed them. And lo a voice out of the cloud, saying: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased: hear ye him." And the disciples hearing fell upon their face, and were very much afraid. And Jesus came and touched them: and said to them: "Arise, and fear not." And they lifting up their eyes, saw no one, but only Jesus.
And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying: "Tell the vision to no man, till the Son of man be risen from the dead."
OFFERTORY ANTIPHON Ps. 118:47, 48

PREFACE
LENT PREFACE
It is said from Ash Wednesday to Passion Sunday, in all the Masses of the Season, Feasts and Vigils, unless there is a proper Preface.
It is truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times, and in all places, give thanks unto Thee, O holy Lord, Father almighty, everlasting God; Who by this bodily fast, dost curb our vices, dost lift up our minds and bestow on us strength and rewards; through Christ our Lord. Through whom the Angels praise Thy Majesty, the Dominations worship it, the Powers stand in awe. The Heavens and the heavenly hosts together with the blessed Seraphim in triumphant chorus unite to celebrate it. Together with these we entreat Thee that Thou mayest bid our voices also to be admitted while we say with lowly praise:
Remember, O Lord, Your compassion and Your mercy are from of old, that my enemies may never rule over us. Deliver us from all our distress, O God of Israel.
