Just thought I’d share this whitepill. What a beautiful thing vocations are... it’s a shame there’s been a major decrease in them because of Vatican II

Fun Fact:

Salazar and Marcel Lefebvre met in 1965. They discussed many topics, agreeing that the new liturgical reforms were not good and expressing each other’s dislike for Vatican II, as well as for Paul VI’s political actions.

Salazar would also later say he had much enjoyed the prelate’s company and considered him very highly, while Lefebvre in 1969 highlighted the “Estado Novo” as a perfect example of a Christian Nation.
“Teach your children to work, teach your daughters modesty, teach all the virtue of economy. And if not make them saints, at least make them Christians.”
António Oliveira de Salazar.
People like Salazar, Franco, and Jose Antonio are what Traditional Catholic men should aspire to be like. Great leaders and true men who loved Christ first and foremost and wanted the best for their nation and people.

« So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ » - Romans 15:19

The first to preach the gospel in Albania may have been St. Paul himself. Even the apostle St. Andrew is believed to have preached in Epirus. An undetermined number of Christians lived in the port of Durrës in 58 AD, and from the fourth to the fifth century Christianity had left distinct traces throughout the country.

Christian bishops from Dardania and Macedonia Salutare, that is, senior officials from eastern Albania and present-day Kosovo, are known to have attended the first Ecumenical Council convened in Nicaea in 325 AD by Emperor Constantine.

Also, five or six bishops from Dardania, New Epirus and Old Epirus participated in the Council of Sardinia in the years 343-344 AD.
