Jambukeswarar Temple, Thiruvanaikaval (also Thiruvanaikal, Jambukeswaram) is a famous Shiva temple in Tiruchirapalli (Trichy) district, Tamil Nadu, India. The Temple was built by Kocengannan (Kochengat Cholan), one of the Early Cholas around 1800 years ago.

Believe it or not, it's an amazing sculpture carved in a single stone. We can see this intricate carving at JALAKANDESWARAR TEMPLE, Vellore, Tamilnadu, India.

Every portion is extraordinary in this pillar. It was built-in 1274 C.E.

The other wonders of this temple are the exquisite Kalyana mandapa and the Vasantha mandapa.

How is it even possible?

800+ years back when no technology, no machinery, no advanced tools exist, yet achieved such polished finish pillars that still shines till date.

The Amruteshvara temple also spelt "Amrutesvara" or "Amruteshwara", in the village of Amruthapura, Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka, India. The temple was built in 1196 C.E. by Amrutheshwara Dandanayaka (lit, "commander") under Hoysala King Veera Ballala II.

Also, you can see the sun rays touch Amruteshwara's vigraha on Sankranti.

The Great Living Chola Temple !!

A Matchless Wonder.

Brihadeshwara Temple, TN built in 1010 is a living history of India. Built out of granite, Vimana tower is one of the tallest towers. The Nandi weighs about 25 tonnes and is made up of a single stone 2m in height . It one of the most beautiful temples of India which is standing proudly even after 1000 yrs.

Another engineering marvel in India.

Shivamandir's engineering will surprise you. If we build a simple house, we needto to put a beam on it, but even after it is such a grand and huge temple, there is no beam in this temple. This temple is in Onakona village in Chhattisgarh. This temple is as ancient as the temple of Khajuraho.

The landmark of Jaipur: Palace of Winds โ€œHava Mahalโ€.

Built in 1799 by Swai Pratap Singh. It is a 5 story pyramid shaped wth a honeycomb appearance. Built wth red & pink sandstone, it has 953 jharonkhas & was used by royal women to observe festivals without being seen. It appears as if a flower wth closed petals is blooming out of the earth.

This place is just amazing standing in the middle of a busy town. Even in hot summer, you feel cold winds blowing if you stand by these windows.

Believe it or not, This is carved in a hard stone!!

Dated: ~19th century CE

Such brackets usually flanked main doorways. The theme is the same as seen in Vijayanagara period temples and earlier Kalchuri temples.
