Our PM will lay the foundation stone for a new Parliament building on December 10.

The new Parliament building will have an area of 64,500 square metres and is being built at an estimated cost of Rs 971 crore.

The existing temple of democracy is completing 100 years… It is a matter of pride for our countrymen that the new one will be built by our own people as a prime example of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

The new building will showcase the cultural diversity of the country. Hopefully, in the 75th year of independence, Parliament session will be held in the new building.

The 72-feet-high tower was built by a Jain merchant, Jeeja Bhagerwala during the reign of Rawal Kumar Singh (C.E. 1179 – 1191) for the glory of Jainism in Rajasthan.

The Rameswaram Temple corridor is the World's Longest Corridor.

Do you know there are total Three sets of corridors in the temple.

The first innermost corridor is oldest one here the main Garbhagriha is situated.

The second corridor has 108 Shivlingas & statue of Mahaganapati.

The outer set of corridor is the longest one with 400ft in east & west & 640ft in north & South direction consisting the 1212 pillars.
The total length of this 3 corridor is 3850ft making it the World's Longest Temple Corridor.
