Today we had the President of Argentina tweet in support of an Argentinian memecoin, RT it, and pin it to his X account, only to later delete the tweet and dismiss his support entirely, causing the price to drop from $4.50 to 0.10 within 6 hours. This event not only caused a liquidity blackhole, but also caused many to lose thousands/millions while a select few insiders profited. This goes to show you can never be too complacent when trading any coin and to always have a stop-loss ready in case things goes south. Nothing is guaranteed in this space. Due to this recent event, most memes took a hit, although we've still seen a few majors outperform such as OM, XRP (due to ETF news), LDO, and even TRUMP (the OG president coin). This shows that people are starting to gravitate back to legitimate fundamental plays and getting away from the trenches as they've become a complete gamble unless you're an insider or spot them within the first 15-30min. Make sure you're continuing to manage risk accordingly and diversifying your assets. Never go all-in on one play and only focus on high convictions bets at major support levels on the daily/weekly as capital will eventually flow back.
