Things are looking worse than I thought.

The Greatest Democracy in the World Backfarts!
One may argue that the illusion of the US being “The Greatest Democracy in the World” is just a pretty front for the World Powers led by the US to go on with their nasty “Locker Room” business where being obnoxiously rude, immoral and of course “logically diplomatic” are the keywords.
Watching the US presidential campaign and its allies in the Middle East makes swallowing the shit and living in Iran tolerable; the kind of shit served by “The Greatest Democracy in the World” and its Western Allies. Although Iranians had a fair share of blood and death for eight years, they are now lucky that the shit they are eating is not mixed with the blood and lives of their dearest as it is still sadly true for many of their neighbors in the Middle East region.
Do people in the Western World realize that most of the ancient civilizations followed by great histories and cultures were formed here. Take a close look at the map and do some googling for goodness sake. The resumes of these people don’t match the savagery and the atrocity they are facing.
Let us remember, despite the biggest anti-war protests (show) in the history of the US and the UK preceding the invasion of Iraq, George Bush and Tony Blair were easily voted back into office by their people following the invasion. I suppose, people were just partying (not protesting) in the streets and when it came to “national” and therefore “personal interests” had to vote them back in. Consequently, the shit Iranian people are(were) eating gets more and more and the blood and the death of the very innocent people in the Middle East get worse and worse . Those who are for “The Greatest Democracy in the world”, justifying the shit, blood and death for others, should bear up and inhale the backfart (backfire). It’s just the “Locker Room” gas and let’s hope that it won’t be followed by diarrhea and the shit won’t fly.

If Trump Wants a Fight in the Middle East, Iran Will Give Him One

The goal is to pressure Iran with increased regional isolation and the threat of sanctions and, more assertively, confront Iranian-backed groups in Syria and Yemen, thus compelling the Islamic Republic to draw back or abandon its regional footprint. There’s just one small problem: Iran is unlikely to back down.
Foreign clients enable Iran to keep its adversaries at arm’s length, but they put Iran at risk of escalation with its regional adversaries and the United States. The conflict has so far remained beyond Iran’s borders, but the risk of miscalculation always lurks in the background.
Should the United States intervene more heavily against Assad in Syria or the Houthis in Yemen, those groups might be given the green light from Tehran to renew such attacks. That’s one way the conflict could spiral out of control. Iran doesn’t want a fight with the United States — the IRGC can contend with adversaries by proxy, but it would have much less success in a direct war with the U.S. military — but if the situation spirals out of control in Iraq, a military escalation might be the result.
The ability to influence events outside its borders through proxy groups is both the central factor of Iran’s alienation and its most vital strategic asset. Solving that paradox would require a shift in the Islamic Republic’s overarching political and ideological agenda. But so long as anti-Americanism remains the prevailing tenet of the Iranian regime’s aspirations, and so long as those aspirations are promoted through foreign military adventures, Iranians will not know the peace and stability they so richly deserve.

Have just finished reading Ahmagh Khan's, "Worse than Blacks". I felt that the author seemed to believe that there was something unique about the discrimiantion that some Iranians have found in America. Nothing could be further from the truth.
The Iranian experience in America is the immigrant experience in America. It is a story that has repeated itself over the past three hundred years in the country. Each wave of new immigrants has faced exactly the same kind of discrimination and hardship which Iranians have faced in their adopted home. Immigration and discrimination are as American as apple pie. This does not mean that I agree with it or condone it in any way, but it is a historical reality that is beyond dispute.
Whether one wishes to discuss the German-American experience in the New World in the 18th century, the Irish-American or Chinese-American experiences of the 19th century, the Italian-American and Polish-American experiences of the early 20th century, or the Iranian-American experience of the late 20th century it is the same story of discrimination and social rejection played over and over and over again.
