Some updates of things we know so far:
- The device went through certifications in china, which means that the hardware design is finished and a release is approaching
- The device will probably be announced in Q3 2021
- The device is expected to be shipped with MIUI 13
- codename odin, hardware name K8
- Price is expected to be above Mi 11 Ultra
- Display will be FHD+ instead of 2K+ since the UPC technology doesn't allow for more pixel density so far
- The display will have all around equally thin side bezels for a proper full screen experience
- The device will be driven by a Snapdragon 888
- Battery will be 4500 mAh and will allow 120W wired and presumably 70W wireless charging
- The device will have support for UWB like iPhones and S21 series. Allegedly Xiaomi plans to introduce their own tags similar to AirTags
