* Pinned app - the app will survive any regular memory management cleanup.
* Disable temporary whitelisting - When the app receive new notification while device is idle it goes temporary whitelisted for 10 seconds to proceed the notification. This option will disable such a behaviuor for the app

PowerSave:
* Hide Idle from GMS - While device is in Idle mode Google Play Services process only priority push notification. When 'Aggressive Idle' turned on that could lead to huge delay in regular notifications. This options will hide Idle Mode from Google Play Services. Do not enable it if you don't have any issues with notifications.
* Unrestricted network - In Device Idle mode regular apps are restricted from using network. For some apps (like Google Play Music) that has an opposite effect. The app starts retransmittion attempts and drains a battery. You should test yourself what will serve better for your apps.

Patch to fix Google Pay on custom ROM (or MIUI with unlocked bootloader).

Install the patch through the Recovery need only once. Reinstallation will be required after a full wipe / general reset / clear data of Google Play services.

After installing the patch, you can add cards and use the payment. If the cards are not added, most likely the patch just did not apply. To install the patch correctly, follow these guidelines:

​
1. Use official TWRP (there must be support for busybox).

2. Do not install the patch simultaneously with other patches or ROM.

3. Install the patch only on top of the installed ROM. If you have made a date wipe, first launch the system, perform the initial setup, and then install the patch itself.

4. Before installing the patch, make sure that the Data section is mounted (usually it is mounted by default on all TWRPs).


We also remind you that in order for Google Pay payments to work, it is necessary for the ROM to pass SafetyNet verification. You can test it using the application: SafetyNet Test.

PASSED - means that the test passed. Google Pay should work.
FAILED - not passed. Google Pay will not work.

To PASS SafetyNet on MIUI with unlocked bootloader use magisk.
