Mojang should add a Netherite anvil.
Instead of outright removing the “too expensive” function of the iron anvil. Maybe mojang should make the player craft a Netherite anvil. Although it would be a grind to get, if you need 3 Netherite blocks and 4 ingots. So perhaps, instead of grinding for 30 Netherite ingots, they should allow the player to use a smithing table to make a Netherite anvil with a single ingot and a normal anvil.
For instance in Terraria there are different anvils to craft better items as you progress. Which, I personally think it allows for a better gameplay experience.
Now that mending is in the game, tools can practically last forever but these game drops add new enchantments that slowly use up the 6 times we are allowed to upgrade our tools, weapons and armor by using the normal anvil.
I think the normal anvil should stay for early game upgrades. But by adding a Netherite anvil, it would remove the “too expensive” (40xp level cap) and allow players to add as many enchantments as they want in late/end/post-end game. As long as the player is willing to make the investment in finding Netherite. (Plus the anvil would never break)

Has anybody noticed that one corner of the igloo has a polished andesite block instead of a chiseled stone brick?
