The largest German Minecraft project w/ over 300k live viewers is facing a REALLY BAD new exploit, Mojang isn’t helping

The German Minecraft project "Craft Attack 14" that manages to a hit combined 300k live viewers regularly is facing an insane new exploit where the chat report feature is being abused to ban the streamers for a whole week for no reason. Chat reporting is disabled on the server itself.

It seems that you can simply mass report someone to get them banned for 7 days from ALL ONLINE PLAY. Obviously, outside of being annoying, this is also especially hurting the livelihood of small streamers, a whole week of no income.

So far, 4 streamers have been banned. LetsHugo (1m followers on twitch), BastiGHG (2m followers), nooreax (400k followers) and (SparkOfPhoenix (745k followers) most of these barely even used the in game chat, and are basically family friendly streamers.

So far, it seems that the response they got from Mojang has been that they are allowed to use an alt account in this time, something that isn't a problem for large income streamers but for anyone else, another 27$ isn't something they can just throw around.

Is the system really that badly set up for scenarios like this? Also mind you, it took days for them to get a response, valuable time they could've been streaming. It’s insane that the chat report feature has such easy ways of abuse
