Is anyone familiar with the computer component needs for a decent kitchen-sink mod pack (1.7.10 and 1.16+)

Hi, I'm planning on making a PC for my friend so our friend group can ditch our vanilla server and move to a modded server, but I don't actually know how exactly demanding is because my computer has always been able to handle modpacks I throw at it. Does anyone know what components minecraft is optimized for?

Like for example, would integrated graphics be fine on a decent processor, which leaves the option to get a GPU later for other games, or should I just get a slightly less than decent CPU and GPU right off the bat?

The most helpful thing would be anecdotes from people with new lower-end machines and people with older mid-tier machines on how well your computer ran bigger tech modpacks and what components you have.

How to transfer settings into 1.16.4?

I always copy my options.txt from previous version into a new instance, so I don't have to go through and manually configure all my keys or graphics/sound settings. However, when copying the file from my 1.12.2 instance to my new 1.16.4 instance, 1.16.4 doesn't seem to be paying any attention to the file. Anyone know what's up with that, and if there's an easy way to fix it?

Tinker's Construct with Reskillable Mod.

Is there a way to make reskillable mod work with TConstruct and has anyone done it? I read the documentation but there doesn't seem to be anything there to indicate the compability. Basically I want to make tinkers tools uncraftable from the toolstation until the players reaches the next mining level.

I am looking for a modpack that takes a while to complete. I have played ftb university, ftb academy, sky fac 3,ftb infinity, stone block 2. I do have a decent pc so it doesnt really matter if it is a big modpack.

[FTB: Unstable] MOD - Tetra - Forged Container help?

Okay from what i gather im meant to hit the indicated spots with the corresponding tool/weapon to open the chest.
I think i've tried everything i can think of.

tried it from all sides, tried a different tool. but no clue.

Making 1600RF/tick(possibly way more) with pumpkins in Antimatter Chemistry Chapter 3!!

Hello guys, I just wanted to share you a small automation that got me really proud haha, I spent the full potention of my 2 brain cells to get this one off and it works really well! It's self sufficient!

the way it works is by making a plant gatherer from industrial foregoing farm pumpkins in a 7x7 area, then these are directly pumped into alchemistry dissolvers, leaving you with cucurbitacin, wich each produces 32 Carbon in another dissolver. Them I combine these into coal, and in an analog crafter into coal blocks.

It's not shown in the screenshot, but I turn the coal blocks into coal coke blocks using a thermal expansion redstone furnace with an augument, to then burn it in a petrified fuel generator, producing 1600RF/tick in the early game!!

I left it running during the night and I now have a backlog of 6k coal blocks, so you could probably use 5 more generators at least and it would still be just fine!

Is there a way to completely Terraform a galacticraft planet? such as oxygenating the atmosphere instead of having a crapton of oxygen bubble generators?

In plain old galacticraft, it is apparently impossible to fully oxygenate a planet when terraforming, it only fertilizes soil and grows saplings, and you have to still rely on bubble generators for air. Is there an addon mod, or some "fair cheat" (like trading a massive amount of resources for typing in a command or changing something in the dimension/config file) that makes it possible to fully oxygenate a galacticraft planet?
