Theory: Team CoFH is calamity mod
Evidence:
Both mods made a baseless accusation against another mod (Calamity overhaul & thaumaturge) about stealing assets (which neither mod did)
Both own huge mods
As soon as calamity kicked up development faster, team cofh stopped development
* 2012–2019: Team CoFH was actively expanding Thermal Series
* 2020–2024: Development continued, including ports to newer Minecraft versions, but the pace of major content additions became less noticeable. (as calamity was developing faster)
* May 26, 2024: Development stopped almost entirely on thermal series
* 2025–2026: Calamity started faster development
* Current: Calamity is dead, and now suddenly CoFH is doing a lot more

Looking for a Minecraft modpack that feels like Palworld with conveyor belts, but without complicated crafting
Hey everyone!
I'm looking for a Minecraft modpack focused on automation and factory building.
I really enjoy Palworld, especially building bases and automating production. I'd love something similar in Minecraft.
**What I'm looking for:**
* Visible conveyor belts that actually transport items
* Moving gears, machines and production lines, similar to Create
* Simple machine crafting recipes, without tons of intermediate components
* Automated resource production or mining, especially iron, gold and other materials
* The ability to start with small machines and gradually expand into a huge factory
* Ideally, automatic storage and sorting
* Beginner-friendly progression, preferably with quests or tutorials
**What I don't want:**
I tried Create, and while I absolutely love its moving machinery and conveyor belts, the crafting complexity overwhelmed me. Having to craft so many different components just to build one simple machine really takes the fun out of it for me.
I'm not against complex factories! In fact, I love the idea of building huge, interconnected production lines. I just want the challenge to come from designing and expanding the factory, not from crafting dozens of intermediate items.
I'm happy to start a new world and don't mind which Minecraft version the pack uses.
**Does anyone know a modpack that fits this description?**
