Mod devs, how many of you knew Java before making your first mod?
Discussion about getting into making mods has had me thinking about what sort of experience people have before getting into modmaking as a hobby. I'm intrigued to know how many people learned java as they went or learned it with the intention of making mods. Did you find the process rewarding? Painful? Did you have some knowledge of other languages first?
