Benefits of partnering with a server hoster for your mod/modpack?

Hey! I'm a mod pack developer working on a Cobblemon pack of sorts. I had a inquiry regarding those server hosting companies. I see them plastered absolutely everywhere on mods and mod packs as advertisement and often providing a discount, but what does the person advertising the server hosting company get out of it? Thanks in advance!

How to code Minecraft mods.

So I want to start making mods in Minecraft for fun and I know Oop java and java fundamentals but I don't know where to start in makeing Minecraft mods,does anyone have a tutorial that isn't outdated that can help me or better if someone can teach,also I want to start making mods in neoforge then maybe use the others later.also I don't want to use ai to make the mods,I might use it to make something's easier but not just all the way ai,also I don't want to use mcreator I just wanna make them like they used to.

This is a modest Modpack that leans toward exploration and combat, introducing small but new mechanics to the player (in this case, the great “Hero”), thus providing a different sense of progression, with an RPG-style approach while not straying too far from Minecraft’s core aspects.

Your main objective is to find the 24 Eyes that are scattered across dimensions, structures, and creatures that you must defeat. However, collecting these items is not limited solely to unlocking the great final enemy; it will also allow you to use enchantments, which will become more powerful the more Eyes you collect.

This Modpack has 3 difficulty levels

\- Normal: KeepInventory True

\- Hard: KeepInventory False and Harder Enemies

Are there good modpacks WITHOUT create mod?

I am so damn tired of create mod. It is a good mod, I will not deny that, and it is very versatile and I know a LOT of people love it, but it is not for me.


So I find this cool modpack called Better Than Microsoft. I need to fight with it a little to get it running, but then I'm in the game. Then guess what I see, only now that I have the modpack running?


CREATE MOD.


I'm just sick of it. BTM is supposed to be a silver age styled modpack, a kind of alternate timeline where Notch kept developing and things continued going the direction they were pre 1.9. Why is this complex tech mod in this modpack? It makes no sense. I just want a nice fun modpack without needing to balance a bunch of performance and progression stuff myself.

Are there any REALISTIC zombie apocalypse modpacks?

where you don't just casually go mining with a stone pickaxe and craft a gun with diamond armor and then eat a golden apple, which is all technically impossible irl. I want something more realistic than minecrafty tbh.

In a big pack of mods, how do you go about optimizing it?

I've added the main popular optimization mods (modernfix, entity culling, immediate fast), yet the pack I'm working is stuttering and experiencing fps drops. I'm on fabric 1.21.1, I've uninstalled mods since and I feel like installing every optimization mod just doesn't do anything for me. Is there some niche mods out there that someone can inform me about for my version?
