Is "GregTech: New Horizons" really that hard?
I've heard some people say that GT:NH was something "hardcore" and "not recommended for starters".
I have little experience with tech mods apart from Create, is it easy to understand the progression of the modpack, without knowing most of the mods in it?

Is it only me or the modrinth app is getting worse and worse each update
there was a time where modrinth app was really nice and had some cool features that I wish curseforge app had, but nowadays it seems like the curseforge app is like 1000% better than modrinth app.
I still use both of them, but modrinth ui has gotten so much worse recently, like how they removed different pages of mods from modpacks, I liked that, and how you need to do a double click for mod you want to update, although this last one isn't all that bad it would be better having the option to turn it off, sometimes you have like 40 mods you need to update and other 15 that you can't update because it would break the modpack, then you need to either update 40 mods manually or click update all and change 15 mods that you can't update back to the working versions.
also the new UI is kinda ugly, curseforge UI is ugly too but modrinth app used to have a better looking UI.
so, what do you guys think? personally I don't think it's extremely bad, but I still think modrinth app got a downgrade.

Is Alex's Mobs really that bad performance-wise?
I’ve seen a lot of modpacks without Alex’s Mobs that use Naturalist Lite and/or Critters and Companions instead.
Is Alex’s Mobs really that bad performance-wise? I’ve read a few complaints about whales breaking blocks, but you can just disable that or turn off their spawning entirely.
