💢British ministry of defence: On 28 April and 01 May 2023, Russia mounted air launched cruise missile (ALCM) strikes against Ukraine. These were the first such strikes for 50 days, with the last prior strikes occurring on 09 March 2023.The latest strikes were conducted by Russian Long Range Aviation strategic bombers, both Tu-95 and Tu-160 aircraft, likely using Kh-101 and Kh-555 ALCMs. Both strikes used smaller numbers of missiles than seen in previous attacks, which is likely due to Russian attempts to rebuild its ALCM stockpiles. The observed types of facilities damaged by the Russian strikes indicates a possible shift away from targeting Ukraine's electrical power network. Both recent strikes were likely focused on Ukraine's military, industrial and logistical infrastructure.
💢Centcom: At 11:42 am local time on 3 May, US Central Command forces conducted a unilateral strike in Northwest Syria targeting a senior Al Qaeda leader. We will provide more information as operational details become available.

💢Russia says that last night two Ukrainian drones intend to attack Kremlin, were destroyed by electronic warfare and laser systems.
💢Russia's State Duma: The time has come for a missile attack on Zelensky's residence, Ukraine's denial of targeting the Kremlin is pathetic. Duma representatives will demand the use of weapons that can completely stop and destroy the Kiev regime
💢Russia Today: Maybe now the war will start for real. Attempting to assassinate the President of Russia and targeting such a huge symbol of Russia as the Kremlin has very serious consequences and a unusual response can be expected.
