💢British ministry of defence: On 27 April 2023, Russian military-linked social media claimed that Russia's Deputy Defence Minister Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev had been dismissed. Mizintsev held the military logistics portfolio, and had only been in post for eight months. Mizintsev's sacking was not immediately confirmed, but speculation about his future highlights how logistics problems remain at the heart of Russia's struggling campaign in Ukraine. Russia does not have enough munitions to achieve success on the offensive. Paucity of ammunition drives internal divisions, most notably between Russia's Ministry of Defence and Wagner Group. Russia continues to give the highest priority to mobilising its defence industry, but it is still failing to meet war time demands. While Russia's political leaders persist in demanding success on the battlefield, Russia's logistics professionals are stuck in the middle.
📝In Sudan, from last night clashes again started between Sudan army and RSF forces around Khartoum international airport. The Sudan army says will soon begin a counter attack to completely clear Khartoum. Last night, Sudan army forces took back the Khartoum radio and television building, and RSF forces were forced to retreat from Omdurman. Sudanese fleeing due to the clashes in Darfur are moving towards Chad's borders. Sudan officials estimate that there are more than 10,000 refugees on the border between Chad and Sudan. Also United Nations announced that there are more than 330,000 people displaced by the civil war in Sudan.

📝Satellite image obtained by The War Zone contains evidence of new construction at China's mysterious giant hangar which could fit a U.S. Navy nuclear supercarrier inside it located in the deserts of Xinjiang Autonomous Region. While previous reporting by The War Zone posited the hangar was connected to advanced airship development programs, it is unclear what purpose the new construction will bring to the site. A future structure alongside the hangar, defined by a partial layout of its foundations, stretches nearly as long as the 1,150 feet hangar itself. Construction at the end of the hangar points to a possible extension or even an underground annex being planned. Meanwhile, on the main road, what appear to be administrative buildings are added to the site
