Russia needs to mobilize and get this thing over with. Even if Ukraine's offensive towards Kursk is just for PR, it is massively embarassing for the Russians.

Putin cannot fight a half-war and expect it to all work out. You either go in fully, or you don't go in at all. Yes, Russia is making slow and steady progress, but it's not enough, at least not if the goal is to completely topple Ukraine. If Putin only wants negotiations and a guarantee of Ukrainian neutrality, then maybe. But why only go half the way?

According to Tasnim News, the Iraqi Foreign Minister is planning to travel to Washington D.C. next month to announce the end of the US-led International Coalition in Iraq, together with outgoing President Biden.

All U.S. and Coalition forces are scheduled to leave Iraq before September 2025, except the Iraqi Kurdistan region, where U.S. and Coalition forces will remain until September 2026 at the latest.
