They have managed to destroy a vehicle belonging to Ansarallah, but this footage suggests that PLC forces are still far away from capturing any strategic positions in the area.

For example, the Omari Camp is visible far in the background, which is one of Ansarallah’s current defensive positions.

Ansarallah (the Houthis) have captured and held on to the villages of Al-Ahraz, Ghayl Bani Omar, and Al-Ajram. They are also pushing towards Bireen via Al-Akkad.

In some areas, Ansarallah forces are now only 3-4 kilometers away from the last remaining road into Taizz.

So far, none of the gains that were made on the Red Sea coast & Bab Al-Mandab have been reversed.
