🇨🇳 🇹🇼 How a blockade around Taiwan would materialize:

⬛️ Easiest and cheapest to implement would be to use missiles to destroy the 16 ports of all types in Taiwan.

⬛️ This alone ends Taiwan's ability to receive any bulk goods.

⬛️ Add a no-fly-zone around it, you have a blockade.

⬛️ The next tier would be to have Chinese naval assets creating a screening fleet surrounding the island.

⬛️ This is used to deter a potential US naval involvement, the Chinese screening fleet may not have to take part in the campaign directly.

⬛️ The Suez Canal, which is way more important than Taiwan strait, was blocked for 8 years during war between Israel and Egypt.
