US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller says during the Department press briefing on May 20th that the US, with the use of their military equipment, as well as Israel, with their military personnel, have ‘jurisdiction’ regarding the war in Gaza.

Miller was asked “who has jurisdiction in Gaza?", after he claimed the ICC has no jurisdiction over the matter, he also condemned the ICC prosecutor's announcement of an application for arrest warrants for Israeli and Hamas leaders over the war in Gaza.

"US aviation sanctions, including against Iran, and a ban on the supply of spare parts, put people in danger, the United States is deliberately harming ordinary citizens," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a news conference.
