Hey everyone, i built this app called Elet (ዕለት) and wanted to share it with the community. it’s a complete ethiopian orthodox spiritual companion.
it handles the exact 24-year bahire hasab liturgical calendar, 81-canon scriptures, fasting and penance tracking, and prayer alarms. i made sure everything is 100% offline-first and totally private, even adding biometric locks for spiritual journals.
i'm attaching a pic below so you can see how it looks. you can check out the site to download the latest apk or see the full source code on my github.
site: https://eletorthodox.vercel.app/
github repo: https://github.com/Joelorbit/Elet
would love to hear what you guys think, any issues and all welcomed!

Tired of YouTube autoplaying random music right in the middle of your Mezmur session?
Searching for Ethiopian Orthodox mezmurs on YouTube often means dealing with messy search results, interrupted queues, and irrelevant recommendations.
If you listen to Ethiopian Orthodox mezmurs on YouTube, you know how frustrating the autoplay recommendations can get.
Try Zmare Dawit, a dedicated, Spotify-style streaming web app built specifically for EOTC mezmurs.

Mels is out now.
You can download it from the website:
https://mels-rose.vercel.app/
If you work with APIs, you already know how annoying it can be to test endpoints running on localhost, especially now that most API testing tools are becoming more online-first.
So Mels is a fully offline API testing software, basically an alternative to Postman, but focused on testing your APIs directly from your machine.
And now it supports not only Windows but Linux 🐧 as well 😁 .
Big credit to @Mike ❤️ for building Mels and getting the project to this point.
I just joined in to contribute to the project as well, mainly because I’m a sucker for an of offline-first software and espically working with postman offline is annoying nowdays, I really like the idea behind Mels.
test it, break it, try things out and let us know what you find.
We’ll be actively working on it and making it better.
Give it a try:

It has actually been a very long time since I shared the first update of the Reciprocity game jam, and I am now excited to present this new update. With just two and a half months remaining, I am actively working to finalize the project by adding sound and other essential components needed for completion. For the time being, this represents the latest progress. 🙌🏾
