UCHealth is terminating employees tonight.

All UCHealth employees not vaccinated by October 1st, will be terminated, and their termination will be marked ‘voluntary.’ Some were able to get religious exemptions, which will make them second class citizens at UCHealth locations subject to different rules.

I spoke with a woman today who said that she is banned from working at the Colorado Springs Memorial location because she hasn’t been jabbed. Employees able to get the religious exemption reported that they will be expected to get PCR tested every 72 hours or face termination.

This is a major move that will impact a great deal of people and so far I have read 1 article that barely mentions UCHealth.

Why the media isn’t covering this is a mystery to me. Also keep in mind, jabbed or not, the hospital can only hold as many patients as they have staff to service. This will rapidly cause an extreme strain on an already short-handed industry. We keep hearing in the media that our hospitals are being flooded with patients, when in reality, they are only full in regard to what their staffing can bear. They are short-handed and it’s about to get worse.

Of course what we will hear in the media is that the pandemic has reached such proportions that the hospitals can not keep up, when the reality is that they just terminated a huge portion of their staff.

This is a new manufactured shortage in the health care industry that UCHealth leadership has chosen to enact. They have chosen this path and our communities will suffer the consequences.

Again, the media seems to be silent on this so please share this story, reach out to those you know in this industry to let them know that we, as a community, support them! Reach out to UCHealth leadership to let them know that this is unacceptable!!!

For his pains, Massie is being subjected to the hardball treatment. The American Israel Political Action Committee (AIPAC), which is the most active player in the Lobby, published a Facebook ad that included a picture of Massie and a text stating “Efforts to cut, add conditions, or restrict America’s strong, bipartisan commitment to Israel will only harm America’s national interests.” A caption claimed that “when Israel faced rocket attacks, Tom Massie voted against Iron Dome.” The ad attracted numerous comments asserting that Massie is an anti-Semite.

Massie opposed nearly all foreign aid based on principle, saying that “My position of ‘no foreign aid’ might sound extreme to some, but I think it’s extreme to bankrupt our country and put future generations of Americans in hock to our debtors.” He responded to the AIPAC ad with “How is THIS not foreign interference in our elections?” and AIPAC answered Massie’s tweet with one of its own, saying it “will not be deterred in any way by ill-informed and illegitimate attacks on this important work. We are proud that we are engaged in the democratic process to strengthen the US-Israel relationship. Our bipartisan efforts are reflective of American values and interests.”

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is also hunting Republicans who are not toeing the line. It has focused on Tucker Carlson in particular. It has demanded that Fox News fire Tucker for promoting the “great replacement” theory as well as other white-nationalist talking points. “To use his platform as a megaphone to spread the toxic, antisemitic, and xenophobic ‘great replacement theory’ is a repugnant and dangerous abuse of his platform,” said ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt....In August, Israeli Consul General to the Southeastern United States Anat Sultan-Dadon demanded a meeting with a dean at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to discuss a graduate student teaching a course on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict...[END EXCERPT]

This is astonishing.

I work at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, which has announced that all nurses, doctors and other health care providers will be fired if they do not get a Covid vaccine. Last week I spoke with one of our nurses. She worked hard caring for Covid patients, even as some of her colleagues left in fear at the beginning of the pandemic.

Unsurprisingly, she got infected, but then recovered. Now she has stronger and longer-lasting immunity than the vaccinated work-from-home hospital administrators who are firing her for not being vaccinated.

If university hospitals cannot get the medical evidence right on the basic science of immunity, how can we trust them with any other aspects of our health?
