Ah well.. not now! It can now be done with a couple of easy steps in Xiaomi HyperOS.

Photo cutout feature, one of the new features in the latest HyperOS update lets you isolate the subject of a photo, pull it out and even send it to your friends! ⁣We are happy to announce that we have launched the all-new Xiaomi Stable ROM Tester Recruitment System on Xiaomi Community 5.3.30. Update to the latest app version here if you have not already.

New Recruitment System FAQ
① How can I enroll in the Beta Program?
If you want to enroll in the Beta Program, follow the steps below
-- Open Xiaomi Community 5.3.30.
-- Change app region to Global (ME » Set up » Change region).
-- Go to ME and then select Beta testing.
-- Tap on Recruiting test and then Apply. Please note the system will automatically detect your device.
-- Follow the onscreen instructions to get started.

② The system is bringing up "No data found", how can I solve it?
-- Please check if your device has already reached the EOL status. EOL devices will not receive recruitment notice.
-- More devices are being added as we speak. If your device has not reached EOL status and you still cannot see it, please wait patiently.

③ The Apply button is greyed out in Recruiting test page. What can I do?
First, answer the basic questions for the Beta / Pilot Program (Xiaomi Community » ME » Beta testing » Recruiting test » Answer) and then try again. Please note you need 60 points to proceed.

④ I'm already a Xiaomi ROM Beta tester. Do I need to apply again?
We'd suggest you apply again. The previous user account permission will be retained for a period of time.

⑤ What ROMs does the Recruitment System support?
The System supports all Global ROMs i.e. MI, EEA etc.

⑥ How will I know if I was accepted for the Beta testing?
You will see Passed button in the Recruiting test page (Xiaomi Community » ME » Beta testing » Recruiting test).
