just saw one of the YC backed startup that sells voice agents for larger banks and mortgage lenders to automate phone calls. surprisingly enough, i was working on the same product a couple of months ago (last summer around August). ours was tailored for feedback automation system. so like, there was multi-tenancy-ish kinda system where an organization can create multiple voice agents and deploy them instantly. we used livekit + gemini/openai realtime API. would've been cool if it had made it. maybe a sign to give it another shot? hmm

I was in this contest, but I didnβt deliver my work because I didnβt finish it. I always end up rushing and getting my shit done on the deadline day.
I was thinking about starting with the logo first, since the brief said they would love to get a new logo. I learned a lot while doing this the landing page ( i did few pages)
Donβt be like me, by the way β Iβll definitely improve.
The logo I made is kinda lazy work, but it was thoughtful. Everything was done in Figma (I donβt have any other design software right now).
If the Talix team actually loves it, Iβll deliver it for free.

so, about the contest..
we got 40+ participants. i was going through all of them, and decided our two winners. if you didn't win, it's just that the other competitors were tougher. and i really appreciate for taking the time to give it a shot. i will announce the winners later at night

so results
As I've mentioned before, we received over 40 participants. I was pretty stunned that many of you showed up and gave it a try. Welp, this is a competition and winners are indeed expected. Judging criteria was simple; It was how well you understood the requirement (the design contest file i sent for y'all) and how close you got it to a real design. With that said, I went through all of the submissions and decided the winners.
1st place - @issmuth [Design]
bro literally made a custom blender renders and the animations for them on top of the figma design. it looks really professional, and gave us something that we ACTUALLY own as a brand identity. Plus, he really did understand the requirements and nailed the layout stuff
2nd place - @eyuelad [Design]
also i was quite satisfied with the runner up. it's creative and got that unique touch.
Honorable mention to @Rahwan_Graphics for the logo and posters. Casually added him as a 3rd winner :)
Thanks to every one of you for the participation and the thought you gave it. It really means a lot, wish i could compensate y'all but this is it for now. There is a quiet nobility when some victories are measured in applause, while others are measured in the stillness that follows when one has given everything. so if you didn't win, what matters was that you gave it your whole. and wholeness is something you should dearly keep

idk why this is getting hyped too much by people with two brain cells on X. i mean, it's understandable but you should've been able to see it coming when XBOW was the cool kid on the block last year. maybe it's because the accessibility and applicability is now far better enjoyable DX for the consumer grade right away with single command. it's just an apple-ification, you just polish the interface and lower the barrier to entry. Shanon also looks cool. but ainnoway i'm shipping a code without manually reviewing every piece of it. "autonomous" always has some leak in its pipeline you don't wanna find out at runtime. human in the loop is just inevitable for any prod environment. as far as i am concerned, these model still suffer from logic hallucinations. i don't want those insecure patches and even worse, a new attack vector. but we'll see how it goes
