As a DeFi project grows and trading volume increases, migrating liquidity from Uniswap V2 to Uniswap V3 is a natural and necessary step
Uniswap V2 was ideal in the early days thanks to its simplicity.
But at scale, it shows clear limitations:
• Low capital efficiency
• Higher-than-needed slippage
• Passive liquidity management
Uniswap V3 addresses this with Concentrated Liquidity ☄️
LPs can deploy capital within specific price ranges, focusing liquidity where trading actually happens.

1️⃣ Remove liquidity from V2 to avoid fragmentation
