Polygon has updated its token: it’s no longer $MATIC, but $POL! What does this mean for you? 🪙
For our players, nothing changes on a global scale. Imagine if your country simply renamed its currency—old banknotes are still in circulation and retain their value. It’s the same with MATIC: the token is now called POL, but its functions remain the same.
What will change in MetaTrace?👑
In a future game update, we will replace the name MATIC with POL. The same change will be reflected on our website. All current functions of the token will remain the same as before.
Why did Polygon update the token to POL? 🤔
Blockchain has transitioned to a new version — Polygon 2.0. This upgrade makes the network more powerful and secure, allowing it to support more projects and process transactions faster. Simply put, the Polygon network is becoming more flexible and advanced.
If you want to withdraw MATIC (POL) tokens from Trace Wallet, just select the POL deposit option on the exchange in the Polygon network, and your tokens will be credited to your balance.

Trace Wallet — your wallet in the world of MetaTrace! 👛
Trace Wallet is automatically created when you register your account in the game, giving you full access to your assets. With it, you can:
🔸 Purchase NFTs on the marketplace.
🔸 Withdraw tokens to other wallets.
🔸 Purchase Trace PRO.
🔸 Swap tokens directly in the game or on the website.
To swap tokens, simply select the asset and click “Swap.” Then choose the token you want to receive in return. The swap fee is only 0.1%. Currently, 5 pairs are available for swapping: TRC/USDT, TRC/MATIC, TRC/wBTC, TRC/wETH, ACE/MATIC.
Swapping wBTC and wETH is available only on the website and in the Telegram bot, while the other pairs are supported both on the website and in the game.
Having its own blockchain infrastructure, which includes a wallet, marketplace, proprietary tokens, and NFT collections, is a key feature of MetaTrace.
