Ethiopian Developers Sweep Top Spots in Global 'Zero to Agent' Hackathon by Vercel

Ethiopian tech talent has made a historic mark globally, sweeping the top two positions in the highly competitive 2026 "Zero to Agent" hackathon hosted by Vercel. Beating out nearly 8,000 builders globally, the first-place prize went to Persona AI, an intelligent portfolio generator designed for professionals and students. Following closely behind, Mahlet from Addis Ababa secured second place with Fitwise AI, a platform that uses AI-powered filtering to match users with highly specific scholarships.

የኢትዮጵያ የቴክኖሎጂ ባለሙያዎች በዓለም አቀፍ መድረክ ላይ ደማቅ ታሪክ በመጻፍ፣ እጅግ ተወዳዳሪ በሆነው የ2026 "Zero to Agent" የኮዲንግ ውድድር (hackathon) አንደኛ እና ሁለተኛ ደረጃዎችን አሸንፈዋል። ከ40 በላይ ሀገራት የተውጣጡ ወደ 8,000 የሚጠጉ ተወዳዳሪዎችን በማሸነፍ፣ ለባለሙያዎች እና ተማሪዎች የኤአይ (AI) ፖርትፎሊዮ መገንቢያ የሆነውን "ፐርሶና ኤአይ" ያቀረበው አንደኛ ወጥቷል። በመቀጠልም ከአዲስ አበባ የተሳተፈችው ማህሌት፣ ተጠቃሚዎችን ከችሎታቸው ጋር ከሚመጣጠኑ የትምህርት እድሎች፣ ስራዎች እና ውድድሮች ጋር የሚያገናኘውን "ፊትዋይዝ ኤአይ" (Fitwise AI) የተሰኘ መድረክ በማቅረብ ሁለተኛ ደረጃን ይዛለች።
