ESA 欧几里得望远镜释出了首批图像

欧洲航天局（ESA）的欧几里得望远镜释出了首批图像。望远镜于今年 7 月 1 日发射，以古希腊数学家欧几里得的名字命名，它的轨道位置是日地之间的拉格朗日 L2 点，距离地球 160 万公里。到达预定轨道之后，还需要花 2 个月时间测试和校准仪器。工程师在调试期间望远镜遇到了一系列问题，如无法锁定恒星拍摄稳定图像，以及光污染等。随着首批图像的发布，这些问题都已经解决。欧几里得望远镜的目标是测绘宇宙中暗物质的大尺度分布结构，并确认暗能量的性质。望远镜的口径为 1.2 米，它主要通过近红外光波长观测宇宙。
