参与四天工作制试点的英国公司绝大部分都选择延续这一工作制度。结果被视为它能在现有英国经济体系中有效运作的证据。在参与 6 个月试点的 61 家公司中有 56 家选择延长，其中 18 家公司将这一工作制永久化。研究结果将递交给英国的国会议员，以督促政客为所有英国工人提供 32 小时工作制。参与试点的企业员工福祉有了显著改善，而企业的生产力维持在相同水平或有所提高。参与试点的一家机器人公司的首席产品官 David Maso 认为四天工作制的时代已经到来，他希望较短的工作时间有助于招聘。
