In Business: Spending 3 hours on a low-paying task means those same 3 hours weren't spent pursuing a higher-value client or project.
In Time Management: Saying "yes" to one commitment is automatically saying "no" to everything else you could have done with that time.
In Strategy: Staying in a comfortable but stagnant situation has a cost too — the growth you didn't pursue because you stayed put.
How to Use It: Before committing to anything, ask: "What am I giving up to do this?" If the alternative is more valuable, walk away — even if the current option looks fine on its own.
