by the way i discovered an issue with memtool today. 😂 while testing memtool zygisk with a game, i repeatedly launched the game after selecting its package through ksuwebroot but the imgui overlay wasn't appearing. later, i used my developer build to investigate the issue and finally found the cause!here's what was happening the game developer uses two separate activities a splash screen activity and a game activity my memtool was successfully attaching the imgui overlay to the splash screen activity. however, when the game switched to the main game activity, the overlay disappeared. why? because the game developer never destroyed the splash screen activity after launching the game activity! 😂 as a result, memtool remained attached to the old activity instead of switching to the new one. technically, this is caused by how the game developer handles the activity lifecycle, which creates a compatibility issue with memtool. anyway, don't worry! 😎 i'll fix this in the memtool v5.1 final release by implementing an activity lifecycle fallback mechanism, allowing the imgui overlay to recover and attach to the correct activity automatically.
