Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah "strongly" condemned an SBI manager who was seen arguing with a customer demanding she speak in Kannada at a branch in Bengaluru in a video. Adding that her behaviour showed "disregard to citizens", he said, "We appreciate SBI's swift action in transferring the official." He also urged Finance Ministry to mandate language sensitisation training for bank staff.

The Maharashtra cabinet recently approved the Aggregator Cabs Policy, introducing guidelines for fare structures, ride cancellations, carpooling, and driver safety standards across the state.
