Everything Has Changed Now!

In the current situation, several long-standing myths have been shattered. For example, the belief that being a nuclear power would prevent any country from attacking Pakistan has been proven wrong.

For the first time in five decades, India has carried out military strikes via drones (reportedly Israel made), on Pakistani soil. This is a major military milestone. Since 1971, it is the first time that Indian military action has targeted areas inside Pakistan (PoK).

And not just one, but at least nine cities were targeted — including two provincial capitals: Lahore and Karachi. Even regions near Khyber Pakhtunkhwa came under attack.

It is now clear that the entire Pakistani territory is within range of Indian weaponry. Even GHQ is within reach (as Rawalpindi was also hit by a drone). The drone strike on DHA Lahore proved that the families of military officers are not safe either.

So, another myth has been broken — that India does not seek war and will never initiate military aggression against Pakistan.

Importantly, these were not missile strikes — they were unarmed or lightly armed drones, yet they spread across more than half the country. Today’s drone strikes were not intended to cause massive destruction but to send a strategic message: India is always ready for conventional war and can carry out pre-emptive military strikes whenever it chooses. In doing so, India has embraced the risk of nuclear war and has effectively neutralized Pakistan’s nuclear deterrence doctrine.

After today, Pakistan’s existing security doctrine has become practically irrelevant. If Pakistan ignores these symbolic attacks on so many cities, it will be seen as a military defeat. But if Pakistan retaliates with counter-attacks, then full-scale war may begin — a war that Pakistan may not be able to control.

India has ended the strategic ambiguity regarding Pakistan and has left Islamabad with only two options:

1. Transform from a security state into a normal state.

2. Or face the consequences of a decisive, possibly all-out war.

The Pakistani military now faces its most difficult test since 1971.

In the middle of rising tensions between India and Pakistan, a known Baloch writer, Mir Yar Baloch, has claimed Balochistan’s independence from Pakistan.

He has called on the Indian government to allow the opening of a Baloch embassy in New Delhi.

He urged the United Nations to send peacekeeping forces to Balochistan and demanded that the Pakistani army leave the region.
