Fuel crisis in Srilanka:

1) An App developed to monitor vehicles at fuel stations and share real time data with fuel stations islandwide is been tested in multiple locations currently.

Number plate details of the consumers at the pump will be entered.


2) The entered data is shared real time with the other app users.

Once the number plate is entered, it will notify if the same vehicle has pumped fuel on the same day from any other station and the history of refueling of the vehicle.

The app has been developed by Srilankan Police's IT Dept.
