Preparing against chemical warfare threat, Indian Army has signed a contract for procurement of 223 Automatic Chemical Agent Detection and Alarm (ACADA) systems from L&T Ltd at a cost of ₹80.43 crore.

ACADA system is used to detect chemical warfare agents (CWA) and programmed toxic industrial chemicals (TICs) by sampling the air from the environment.

Asaduddin Owaisi pleads Maharashtra CM Devandra Fadnavis to lift ban on issuance of “delayed” birth and death certificates for a period of six months, after BJP MP Kirti Somaya complained that many Bangladeshi and Rohingya Muslims were issued birth and death certificates.

He says,

"Many kids from poor families, especially in Malegaon, weren't registered due to lack of legal knowledge, illiteracy, or financial constraints. Consequently, they can't secure school admissions.

Devendra Fadnavis, please lift the ban or exempt birth certificate issuance for primary school admissions. The right to education, a fundamental right, shouldn't be denied to poor children in Malegaon and elsewhere due to delayed administrative processes"
