Karnataka HC grants him anticipatory bail.
The High court though refuses to quash the POCSO case against the Former CM.
Case pertains to allegations of sexual assault on a 17 yr old girl at his residence in Feb 2024.
Petition is allowed in part. Order of taking cognizance stands obliterated. The crime and investigation and final report remains intact. Matter remitted back to the trial court. All contentions remain open.
