China's Central Bank, PBOC is quietly expanding its investments in India despite ongoing geopolitical tensions.

As of FY24, PBOC's portfolio includes shares in 35 Indian companies valued at approximately Rs 40,000 crore.

The largest investment is in ICICI Bank, with shares worth Rs 6,139 crore, followed by HDFC Bank at Rs 5,344 crore and Infosys at Rs 5,303 crore. Additionally, PBOC holds Rs 1,414 crore in Power Grid Corporation.
