The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has repatriated 102 tonnes of gold from the Bank of England, bringing the total gold reserves held in India to 60 percent. Of the total 855 tonnes of gold, 510 tonnes are stored domestically, while the remaining gold is held with the Bank of England and the Bank for International Settlements in Switzerland.
