In a recent court session, Chief Justice DY Chandrachud warned a lawyer not to try to stop the new government in Haryana from taking its oath.
The Congress party had asked the court to look into the election results, saying there were issues with the voting machines.
CJI Chandrachud told the Congress lawyers that if they wanted to block the new government, they could face penalties, and that the court wouldn't get involved without strong evidence.
