Delhi bound Swatantrata Senani Express’s (12561) loco-engine suffered failure, after it hit a wooden log lying on rail track between Ghazipur Ghat and Ghazipur City railway station.

The log was dragged for nearly half-a-km, before the express came to a halt. The train was cruising at 100kmph, and even after emergency brakes, it couldn't avoid the collision.
