35-year-old BSF officer has become the 1st CAPF officer to successfully complete the IRONMAN CHALLENGE held in Copenhagen, Denmark, one of the toughest triathlon events across the globe.
The Iron Man Challenge comprises of 3 mammoth events which includes:
β’ 3.8 Kms of Swim
β’ 180 Kms of Cycling
β’ 42.2 Kms Full Marathon
Cut-Off timing for the event(M35-39) was 15:45:00.
Sh Harish Kajla was able to complete the event and achieve this historic feat in time of 12:42:25.
Assistant Commandant Harish Kajla joined the country's largest border-guarding force BSF in 2012.
He is currently on deputation posting to the counter-terrorist commando force National Security Guard (NSG).
