Karnataka governor Thaawarchand Gehlot on Saturday gave the nod for the prosecution of chief minister Siddaramiah in alleged Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) site allotment scam.

Earlier, Siddaramaiah had expressed confidence that the governor would reject a petition seeking prosecution against him.
