A tragic accident occurred in Leh, near the Line of Actual Control (LAC), when a T-72 tank met with a river crossing accident around 3 am, resulting in Veergati of five soldiers, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO).

The incident took place at Mandir Morh, and all five bodies have been recovered.
