The ED had moved to Delhi High Court against bail granted to CM Arvind Kejriwal.

“If an accused has underwent the atrocities of the system till his innocence is realized, then he could never be able to conceive that "JUSTICE" has actually been done in his favour”: Delhi Court

Delhi Court says that ED believes that evidence is not sufficient to proceed against Kejriwal and is taking time to procure the same in any manner.

“This very scenario constrains the court to draw an inference against the investigating agency that it is not acting without bias,” the court said.

'Delhi Court' is the court that ordered bail

The court noted it is an admitted fact that Kejriwal has not been summoned by the court till date, yet, he is lying in the judicial custody at the instance of ED on the pretext of the investigation being still going on.

Vacation Judge Niyay Bindu has ordered the bail. Now observations are being made on the order.

ED has failed to clarify as to how much time is required for tracing out the complete money trail: Delhi Court

Delhi Court: It may be possible that some known persons of the applicant are having involvement in an offence or being known to a third person, involved in the offence, but ED has failed to give any direct evidence against the applicant in respect of the proceeds of crime.
