Oil India Limited, the country’s second-largest hydrocarbon producer, has been hit by a cyberattack at its HQ in Assam, forcing servers to shut down.

A company spox claims it has not affected daily operations, although the hackers are demanding a 196-Bitcoin ransom (worth around $8 Million).
