Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has cancelled a contract of more than ₹200 crores, due to serious corruption allegations.

The contract was related to upkeep of Rani Bagh (Mumbai's Zoo) wherein the famous Penguins are also kept.

BMC already spends ₹5 crore every year for upkeep of Penguins, which a separate contract.
